EDF5770 Designing for interaction and collaboration

I developed a system of interchangeable modular topic content intended to be included next to other relevant learning material.

The modular insertion used Moodle's quiz embedding functionality. I employed a JavaScript linked external CSS file to replace the default Moodle quiz style with the EDF signature graphical style.

Additionally, each modular is interactive, offering students an explanatory 'What is this?' pop-out to explain how the modular content should be viewed and also the opportunity to explore examples in the 'Digital platforms the could be used' accordions.

@Leigh Canny. Pod QA complete. A great interesting unit about my favourite topic - interactivity :). Loved the java too! Comments are in the rubric as usual. Thank you!

Embedded questions (ITO4001 Foundations of Computing)

In order to enhance student learning experience, I harnessed the Moodle quiz embedding functionality to embed check-your-understanding quiz questions throughout the learning material in Monash Online's ITO4001 Foundations of Computing unit.

The quiz embedding approach had multiple uses and supported business goals arond pedagogical application of technologies (new and existing) that enhance student experience.

the students enjoyed the unit and they appreciated the examples, exercises, quizzes, etc embedded in the unit, which they found quite effective for their learning.

EDF5768 Educational design

I developed a dynamic system of for presenting unit readings. The unit required reading lists to appear multiple places throught the unit, so rather than develop the material multiple times, I used Moodle's quiz embedding funtionality to write the content once and recycle it to wherever it was needed.

Previous student satisfaction evidence showed that students had found the navigation and learning experience particularly difficult to negotiate.

Congratulations to Leigh for doing an awesome job. I am really digging this. A million times improved.

Thanks so much for building a delightful new navigation and getting so many changes in for us! It's looking great.

I can’t claim any of the credit, it’s all Leigh’s work with you both, . All I did was nod and listen while Leigh told me how he’d bring your vision to life.

Recycling embedded content

In order to maximise build efficiency, I developed a system in Moodle for interchanging embedded content using embeddable quiz questions.

The quiz embedding approach had multiple uses and supported the following business goals around reduced time or costs for BAU processes.

Amazing!
This is amazing. I have built many question banks but I've never embedded those on the PAGE!!

Moodle quiz embedding

To make best-practice use of Monash Online's available Moodle technology, I proposed a system for interchanging embedded content using embeddable quiz questions.

The quiz embedding approach would go on to have multiple uses and support business goals around reduced time or costs for BAU processes and pedagogical application of technologies (new and existing) that enhance student experience.

I love this.
This changes the game completely doesn't it?
